Dr. Patty Long
Dr. Tomlinson-Long’s passion for chiropractic began at the very young age of 8 because of a life-changing experience. After staring chiropractic care, her life-long struggle with allergies and frequent illness dramatically changed. She was contemplating chiropractic as a profession when she picked up a brochure, saw the education requirements, returned the brochure, and headed down another path. She attended Texas Tech University in pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering. Realizing her personality was suited to serve others, she contemplated a degree to take over her father’s business or become an Elementary Education teacher. Her journey only led back to her original calling as a chiropractor to serve families and children through healthcare.
She attended Texas Tech University when her journey returned her to God’s original chosen path of Chiropractic. She graduated from Parker University, formerly Parker Chiropractic College, in August of 1996. Her personal experiences have added more drive for her to explore different areas of health and chiropractic. She has received advanced training in multiple areas, to include Sports, Total Body Modification, Acupuncture, Nutrition and Detoxification, Craniosacral, as well as Pediatric and Pregnancy, just to name a few.
In 2016, Dr. Patty began a personal struggle of health that resulted from a toxic mold exposure and heavy metal toxicity, later to discover an underlying issue with breast implant illness. Since that time, she has dedicated her studies to helping those with neurotoxic mediated illness and discovering the missing pieces related to health. She stands firm on the Wellness Way motto, “We Don’t Guess, We Test!” She strives to provide the most scientific and researched care, while thinking “out of the box,” to individualize care for each patient she finds herself lucky to serve.
Dr. Patty is a blessed mom of 5 wonderful kids: Christian, Dayne, J.T., Coltan, and Trinity, ranging from age 7-19. She is active in her faith and church. She loves to dance. When she Is not in the office, you will most likely find her at the dance studio with her daughter, on the soccer field or basketball court with her sons. She can also often be found studying and learning even more about every aspect of health.
